The Architectural Process

As a sole proprietor, most of my work has been residential including houses and additions as well as occasional pool houses. I try to work closely with clients in order to find a concept which can drive a design. Sometimes clients will request a model, additional work which they feel is worthwhile for their perception of the project.

Work generally follows the architectural design process which includes pre-design, schematic design, design development, working drawings/specifications, and construction. During the construction phase, I make periodic visits to the site to determine that the project is proceeding according to the contract documents.
